In this busy family household, calming greens are utilized for the main color palette to create a tranquil space in the heart of the house. The greens are paired with blue accents, another cool hue known to be soothing.

Pastoral toile pillows add texture and interest to the room. Additional texture is built through layering design elements; the velvet couch, drapery trim, and tassels at the bottom of the armchairs.
